1. Tennis Hall of Fame

The International Tennis Hall of Fame is a non-profit institution dedicated to preserving the history of tennis, inspiring and encouraging junior tennis development, enshrining tennis heroes and heroines and providing a landmark for tennis enthusiasts worldwide.

2. Toro Synagogue
Touro Synagogue has the distinction of being the oldest synagogue in the United States and is also considered to be one of the most architecturally distinguished and historically significant buildings of 18th-century America. Designed by Peter Harrison, one of America's first and finest architects, it is a pristine example of classical Georgian architecture.

3. Naval War College and Museum
Now in its second century of service to the U.S. Navy and the nation, the Naval War College has expanded its role in educating future operational and strategic leaders. In response to these new responsibilities, the College of Operational and Strategic Leadership (COSL) was formally established at the Naval War College on 1 October 2007 to direct and coordinate all efforts in the leadership continuum of Professional Military Education (PME) for Navy officer and enlisted personnel.

4. Fort Adams
In Newport Harbor stands the largest coastal fortification in the United States. Visit this engineering and architectural masterpiece to see where the soldiers lived, enter the casemates, explore the tunnel system, and climb the bastions for breathtaking views. Consider renting the Fort with its 6-acre parade field or North lawn on the water for your special function.

5. Museum of Newport History
The Newport Historical Society was chartered in 1854 to collect and preserve books, manuscripts, and objects pertaining to Newport’Äôs history. The Society’Äôs collections originated thirty years earlier as the ’ÄúSouthern Cabinet’Äù of the Rhode Island Historical Society. By 1853, several prominent Newporters recognized the need for a separate organization specifically devoted to preserving the history of Newport County, and the collections of the Southern Cabinet were reorganized under the auspices of the Newport Historical Society.

6. International Yacht Restoration School
With campuses in the heart of historic Newport and Bristol, Rhode Island, the International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) offers technical training for individuals interested in working in the marine industry and related fields. The school teaches the skills, history, art and science of building, restoring and maintaining wooden and composite-construction boats and their onboard systems.

7.Brick Market Place
The Brick Market Place features a collection of outdoor shops and restaurants spread out over a four-acre area in downtown Newport Rhode Island. What you won't find is the typical 'box' mall here - instead you'll find troves of New England treasures from antique stores to authentic lobster houses.

8.Museum of Yachting
For more than 25 years, the Museum of Yachting (MoY) has worked to preserve the culture and heritage of yachting. Situated on one of the most beautiful seaside locations in New England, today the Museum celebrates the traditions of yachting through the presentation of informative exhibits and educational programming.

9. Newport Vineyards
Newport Vineyards is the largest grower of wine grapes in New England and is recognized as a landmark attraction in Newport County and continues the tradition of growing quality wines on preserved farmland.

10. Newport Historical Society
It is the mission of the Newport Historical Society to collect and preserve the artifacts, photographs, documents, publications and genealogical records that relate to the history of Newport County, Rhode Island; to make these materials readily available for both research and enjoyment; and to act as a resource center for the education of the public about the history of Newport County, and its pre-eminent position in American history, so that knowledge of the past may contribute to a fuller understanding of the present.
