In business since the mid-80s, O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub, located less than a half block from the Liberty Street side of Ground Zero, reopened a few months after the tragic collapse of the Twin Towers. Fortunately, for its loyal patronage, O'Hara's is back full-swing as an Irish pub and sports bar that serves American-style fare at reasonable prices. Once again, there is fun and frolic in the air.

"A must visit in NYC. Cold beers and fantastic burgers. The staff made our day and made us feel like we were regulars". -Menupages.com

I been coming to O'Hara's for the past 13 years on and off. It mostly is an after work happy hour spot for me. I can't really remember the food errrrr, but Jimmy the bartender is like Sam from Cheers. He always greats you with a smile and says Hi My Dear how are you!!! and bam just like that my amstel light with a lime is on the bar. OK I guess I can be considered a regular. I havent been there since the summer, but even if I would go back tomorrow Jimmy would great me with a smile and I woud know a few of the bar flies in there. You get a mix of white collar and blue collar people, and a juke box which is fun for when you have a few to many. Also to be noted, it's packed with sailors during fleet week if thats your thing. -yelp
