Other than a great view of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and Manhattan Liberty State Park offers visitors and educational experience. At the Liberty Science Center you can feel your way through a pitch-black, 100 foot long touch tunnel and climb across a rock wall or simply touch a live horseshoe crab or how about a ferry ride to Ellis Island and Liberty Island to view a piece of history. Some of the Jersey City hotels offer great views of the Manhattan skyline; all are just a short 15-minute trip on the PATH train to Manhattan.
